AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE AT MEDITERRÁNEA FASHION WEEK VALENCIA: WARMTH, TALENT, AND RUNWAY ELEGANCE
Covering a fashion event is always exciting, but when runway excellence meets exceptional human warmth, the experience turns into something truly memorable. This was exactly what we experienced during our time at Mediterránea Fashion Week Valencia, hosted in the beautiful setting of the Complejo Deportivo-Cultural La Petxina in Valencia.
The event was scheduled across two special nights on October 13 and 14. While a sudden overnight health issue unfortunately forced us to give forfait on the 13th, the evening of October 14 more than made up for it, treating us to an extraordinary showcase featuring the collections of renowned designers Erick Bendaña and Duly Romero.
From the moment we walked through the doors, the attention to detail was flawless. Both the organization and every single staff member demonstrated top-tier professionalism, paired with genuine kindness and warmth. They were attentive to our every need at all times, making our work seamless and ensuring our entire experience was comfortable and smooth. It is precisely this close, dedicated touch that elevates a major event, creating a welcoming, warm, and highly energetic atmosphere right from the start.

That inviting ambience served as the perfect backdrop for the main highlight of the evening: the fashion. On one hand, Erick Bendaña’s runway show dazzled the audience with its immense visual power. Among his most captivating pieces is the floor-length red gown featured in our photo gallery: a dramatic mermaid-silhouette dress designed to sculpted perfection. Combining a rich velvet skirt with intricate black lace embroidery along the bustier, the gown features alluring sheer geometric paneling and balanced volume that gives every stride a truly majestic presence. Bendaña also captivated attendees with his ultra-luxurious bridal gowns, boasting exquisite detailing and artistic statement prints across the back and shoulders.

On the other hand, Duly Romero’s collection stood out for its modern elegance and structural creativity, beautifully exemplified by the chic ivory two-piece ensemble highlighted in our photos. This contemporary look pairs a minimalist, clean-lined cropped top with a striking structured skirt, enriched by playful sculptural ruffles and a delicate floral rosette detail that adds a touch of avant-garde romance and artisanal flair to the runway.

Every design that crossed the runway commanded attention and applause, capping off an event where talent, comfort, and hospitality aligned perfectly. A stellar evening that left us not only with a renewed appreciation for high-level style, but also with wonderful memories of the warm welcome provided by the entire organizing team.
