Beyond the runway: how Milan street style defines the future of global fashion

Milan Fashion Week in February 2026 once again confirmed that the true pulse of style beats outside the official show venues. If the runways provide the vision, the streets of Milan offer the reality: a vibrant, chaotic, and deeply personal interpretation of contemporary luxury. Today, street style is no longer just a side event; it is the primary engine of trend creation, where photographers from around the world gather to document authentic avant-garde fashion.

In this landscape, the photographer’s eye acts as a curator of “cool.” The challenge is finding the perfect intersection between historical heritage and rebellion. For this edition, photographer Sasha Zhu selected exclusively for Milan Weekly twenty of his shots that represent the height of urban sophistication seen this season.

The “Magnificent 20”: A Gallery of Modern Identity
